How is dpHistory different from entering an ACT! history?
When you create an ACT! History, it ONLY shows up on history tab.
When you click the dpHistory icon, you would enter your history as you normally would.
Then when you click OK, dpHistory will ...
  • create an ACT! Activity,
  • immediately clear the Activity, and
  • create the specified ACT! History
with ONE click of the button.
(So now you can use the ACT! Dashboards for more complete Activity reporting.)

But that’s not all. You can also ...
  • have MULTIPLE dpHistory windows open at the same time for different ACT! contacts while you are looking up other contacts, sending e-mail, etc … you do multi-task… don’t you?.
  • run a timer during your tasks, phone calls or custom activity types (see the icons at the right of the dialog). If you get interrupted, you can click Pause, minimize or dock the window and start a new dpHistory window. … can’t do that in ACT!.
  • "Paste" in unformatted text into the details section

Choose Manual or Auto start timer
Choose default History Type
Choose transparency Level for DockedBox
Choose to create Activity default


Run timer during task,
if interrupted by phone call,
pause timer, dock it,
