PROGRAM: DataPlus for QuickBooks - Act Configuration

Act Fields & Processes
Note: Currently QuickBooks SDK does not provide a link to migrate QuickBooks transactions. Therefore Act Opportunities do not migrate & transactions can be duplicated.

Act Field Relationship with QuickBooks
Contact Level
    QuickBooks Contacts
    The following fields establish entity relationship between Act Contact & QuickBooks Contact & provides link to DataPlus Menu in DataPlus tab.
  1. Customer Number
  2. Employee Number
  3. Employee Account Number
  4. Vendor Number
Note: These fields are unique numbers. They can be shared with other contacts within the same organization.
Note: Company Level fields are like the Contact Level fields and perform the same.
Contact Level
    QuickBooks Contacts
    The following fields establish entity relationship between Act Contact & QuickBooks Contact & provides link for importing data from QuickBooks.
  1. eCustomerID
  2. eLocationID
  3. eContactID
  4. eContactReferenceID
  5. eVendorID
  6. EmployeeID
  7. eActContactID
Note: These fields are unique ID's and should remain unique to each Act contact.
Note: Company Level fields are like the Contact Level fields and perform the same.

    Manage Process Lists
  1. From Opportunity tool bar, Opportunities/ Manage Process List..
  2. Click on Create New Opportunity Process

  2. Description (optional): DataPlus QuickBooks Configuration
  3. Click on Next >

    Customize Stages
  1. Edit Name Estimate Open
  2. Description you can leave blank
  3. Probability 45%
  4. Click on Add

  1. Name Estimate Expired
    • Description Past due date
    • Probability 0%
  2. Click on Add
  3. Name Estimate Inactive
    • Description leave blank
    • Probability 0%
  4. Click on Add
  5. Name Sales Order Open
    • Description leave blank
    • Probability 50%
  6. Click on Add
  7. Name Sales Order Invoiced
    • Description leave blank
    • Probability 80%
  8. Click on Add
  9. Name Sales Order Expired
    • Description Past due date
    • Probability 0%
  10. Click on Add
  11. Name Invoice Open
    • Description Not paid
    • Probability 90%
  12. Click on Add
  13. Name Invoice Paid
    • Description leave blank
    • Probability 100%
  14. Click on Finish
Note: Stages can be customized in DataPlus [ActOpportunitySettings] table.

Once Stages are modified in table, Stages in Act should be modified.

  2. Description you can leave blank
  3. Probability 45%
  4. Click on Close
