    2. Act Import Settings
    Import Options:

  1. Check Only Run Selected Items
  2. Check S100 (013) Customer Custom Fields
    3. Note: This step's purpose is to trigger the custom field configuration. It only has to be run once. If at a later date a new custom field is created, this will have to be run again.

    This is a temporary configuration and will not over write your default import configuration.

  3. Click on Okay

  1. Click on Close
    2. DataPlus Import
  2. Click on Close

  2. Tools/DataPlus 4.0/Manual Import

  1. Click on S100
    2. Act Import Settings
    Import Options:
  2. Click on [ ... ]

  1. Check Enable Database Locking
  2. Check Skip Date Check
  3. Check Disable creation of ACT! Companies
  4. Check Create Fields Only
  5. Check Only Run Selected Items
  6. Click on None
  7. Check S100 (120) Company Customer Custom Fields
  8. Check S100 (320) Company Customer Custom Fields
  9. Click on Okay
Note: By checking Enable Database Locking the import will now be able to create the custom field in Act. After import, close Act and reopen. You now can add the new fields to Act layout.
Note: After this import, you can now select import option to run everyday.

  1. Click on Close
    2. DataPlus Import
  2. Click on Close
  3. Close and reopen Act
Note: After reopening Act, you will need to add the custom field to your Act layout.
